Part-time Clerk/Responsible Financial Officer (RFO)

Lach Dennis Parish Council, is looking for part-time clerk/RFO to work an average of 5 to 6 hours per week, including evening meetings (approximately 6 times per year)

The successful applicant will be computer literate and self-reliant, preferably with some knowledge of local government procedures and basic book-keeping skills. Duties will include general administrative duties, organisation of village events, telephone and written communications including social media and website, and the management of various Council projects from time to time. Training in all aspects of the role will be provided if required.

Clerk pay scale SCP9 (currently £10.57 per hour) depending on experience but training can be provided.

Knowledge of the area and an interest in parish activities is desirable.
