Flooding has a devastating effect on our communities.  Most recently Storm Christoph caused devastation across Cheshire in January 2021.

Flooding and drainage have many stakeholders from Cheshire West and Chester Council, as Lead Local Flood Authority, though to individual water companies, the Environment Agency and local landowners.  This presentation will provide an overview of flooding, detail how Town and Parish Councils can help, how we can all prepare for future floods, where we can all get further information from and the operational state of readiness of the Highways Service in advance of this Winter season

Our Emergency Planning Team will also explain how they can help Town and Parish Councils produce their own Community Resilience Plans.
