Along with my husband Royce I settled in Lostock Green almost 5 years ago after living at Tabley House for some time. I am a retired lawyer with a medical background, I have a son who recently returned to the UK after spending 10 years in Australia. Since moving into the Village I have taken an interest in all village affairs and enjoy being a Parish Councillor as I feel the Parish Council have an important role to play in Village life. I enjoy gardening, reading and knitting, also the WI. I belong to Byley group which will sadly will cease to be at the end of the year.

Kathy O’Donoghue
I have lived in Lostock Green since infancy when my parents took on the tenancy of Park Farm in the village in 1956. I had a very happy childhood in Lostock Green, growing up with my six siblings.
I married Barry at Lostock Green Methodist Church in 1977 and we lived at Ridge Farm raising the young stock for Park Farm as well as having a full time job! In 1980 we bought and renovated a cottage in the Village where we currently live and brought up our two children.
I am now retired but very busy being a carer to my mother- in-law and enjoy looking after my granddaughter. I have done a two-year interior design course and love renovating old furniture along with my hobbies of gardening and reading. Through my parents, I have always been involved with community issues within the village and hopefully I can help more in my position in the Parish Council. I have been a Parish Councillors since May 2017
